This program was designed to be used in a maths classroom via a projector and hence works in full screen mode. The game emulates the UK Chanel 4 Countdown (TV show) numbers game whereby you can choose 6 numbers to be used by the contestants to make the number that is randomly generated by the program. The 6 numbers to be chosen can be any six from 2 lots of 1 to 10 numbers and the 4 numbers 25, 50, 75 & 100. Each number can only be used once in your answer. The default setting for the timer is 30 seconds as in the TV show however you can adjust this according to your contestants ability. The music will only be heard in the last 30 seconds. You can also limit the random number generated by the program which defaults to a number between 101 and 999. When the timer is finished the program displays the option to find as many solutions as it can. In the latest version 3.142 There is also a validate function which allows you to test out your answers to finding the target prior to getting the program to search for solutions.
