 How to install this software

After downloading TenQQpro.zip you should double click on it to open the zip file and then drag the file inside (TenQQpro.exe) to another location. This software is currently a large single file and does not require a seperate setup program. Once it has been extracted from the zip file it can be run by double clicking on the file in My Computer. If you create a folder such as

c:\program files\TenQQ   you can place the file in the folder and make a shortcut to it on your desktop.

When you run this program for the first time...

When you run this program for the first time you will be prompted to agree to the license terms and conditions. This should only happen once on each machine. When you agree the program attempts to create a file called TenQQ.ini in the Windows Folder of the computer that is running the program. If this cannot be created due to Netwrk administrator restrictions you will need to create the file manually. In version 3.0.07 and above you will be prompted that this is the problem and not allowed to continue untill the file is created. To manually create the file see  Manually creating the initialisation file TenQQ.ini  below

Running this software from a shared network area

This program was not designed to be installed and run from a network however it should be possible to install it and run it from a shared area since it doesn't require an installation. It should be stressed that if you do this I cannot guarantee that the program will work in the way that it was designed to. Further more you must also make sure that every computer that accesses the program has the initialisation file TenQQ.ini located in its windows folder locally.

Bulk distributions for Site License network administrators.

There is a facility available for site licensed users that allows bulk distribution and automatic registration. This facility works using a Lic file that contains the license details. The Lic file is placed in the same folder as the program and when a user starts the program the registration details are extracted from the Lic file - encrypted and saved in the TenQQ.ini file in the Windows Folder. the Lic  file is then automatically removed. If you are a Site Licensed Institution and require a Lic file for your license please email me to let me know.

It is possible that this Lic file could also be used on a network shared area as ling as it was made read only since it would automatically be deleted the first time a user ran the program if it was not. I cannot varify that this will work correctly at the moment since it has been tested, however I can't see why this wouldn't work!

How do I get 15 seconds on the timer? the slider keeps giving 14 or 16!

The slider is a little difficult to use if you want the exact amount of seconds, however you can simply double click on the number of seconds and then enter the number you want using the keyboard. Pressing enter after you have changed the value will set the timer to the number you have chosen.
