VBA is an abbreviation for Visual Basic for Applications, the official name of which is "Visual Basic, Applications Edition." VBA is Microsoft's common application programming (macro) language for Access, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
 

In this section I will provide some projects I have worked on to automate tasks and create new features. For each of these projects Macro Security will need to be set to "Medium" at least in the respective Microsoft application that is being automated and the "Trust Access to Visual Basic Project" option in the Trusted Publishers Tab of the Applications Security Dialog will also need to be on. Note that when changing these security settings in Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc you have to restart the application before the settings take effect.
